Penang Junior Closed 2008

Okay! Another Squash tournament going on now! haha. End of the year, usually got a few tournaments. So, this tournament is from 2nd – 5th December. Quite a lot people played this tournament! But of course, for those from Penang only. 

This tournament allows you to participate in more than one category. But less than two. So, it allows one to participate in max. 2 categories. I participate in two categories which is Under 17 and Under 19. Yassin, Brian and Nicholas did the same too.  So, the first day, I played with Alamin – A guy from the Tin Club team. I played him TWICE some more! Haha. One in Under 17 one in Under 19. Haha. I won both.  That’s the first day. the next day, which is today, i played with Yassin and Brian. Played Brian in the Semi- Finals for the Under 17 event. Played Yassin in the Under 19 event. 

First match, Mr. BR (Brian). Oh yea, did i forget to mention he’s back from his SPM. Damn! Why he’d have to come back? Nuisance to the squash court. A waste! What a waste.  So, i won the first set. Then, he won the second. But then, i got back and win the third and fourth set. Towards the ending, of the fourth set. I was 7-6 up. Then, i ACCIDENTALY, hit him. Then, he stopped and asked for a let. The referee, then gave a stroke. Which is correct! Once a player hit the his opponent, the player that hit his opponent would get a stroke! Right? So, this BR then argue with the referee. He said it is wrong to give a stroke. Come on BR! Think rationally! Oh god! This guy is pathetic. As a said before, a waste. No doubt about that. So, i won the match 3-1. 

Then, it’s yassin’s turn. I wasn’t very tired from the previous match, so i was able to still pick up some shots. The match was a see-saw match! And ended up with me winning the deciding set 10-9! Haha. Almost lost it! Oh well. It’s fun! haha. What a THRILLER! 

Anyways, i’m playing the same opponent as today tomorrow. But different events. I’m playing Yassin in the Under 17 event finals. While i’m playing BR in the Under 19 event for a place in the finals. So, wish me luck! Got to sleep now. Insufficient sleep will definately affect my game tomorrow!
