Yeahh. Am here using the WiFi in Starbucks. Damn, playing yassin tomorrow for 9th10th position. What the.
There’s a school holiday this week which starts from 24th of August till 30th of August. A normal form 5 student would use this holiday to study very hard for the upcoming trial. But for me, it’s a different story. During this week there’s a five-day coaching course that i decide to attend to. And for this course, Mr. Allan Soyza along his brother Aaron Soyza conducted the course. A sum of 15 people attended this course.
All of us received a thick coaching manual which contains information on how to coach and all sorts. So, if we encounter any problems during coaching, we could just refer to the book. Coaches are required to follow the procedure. There’s always some procedures coaches have to follow on every single thing.
Well, every day, except friday is pretty much the same. It’s usually, theory in the morning session and practical in the afternoon session. And in between, there’s a 2 hours lunch break from 12pm – 2pm. And, everyday’s the same, it’s always Queensbay Queensbay and Queensbay. HA! And, ivan, being kind enough, fetched few of us there. We had some fun there. THE 2, 4 AINT FUN!! ![]()
For the last day, we had an exam. But the day before, there’s an assignment given to us. And the assignment is to plan out on how to carry out your coaching session for both solo coaching and group coaching. Btw, the time given to complete the assignment was too short
I stayed up until 3am to complete the damn assignment. And, i’m sure many of us did the same too. I certainly hope it’s worth it!
There’s 3 parts to the exam. First part is the theory exam. Second is the Practical exam and lastly 20 marks for the assignment. All the 3 parts adds up to 300 marks. And, to pass, one is required to at least score 225 marks. In the theory part of the exam, the was one question, who is the malaysian men’s national number 1. I mistaken it for the WORLD number 1, and i was like thinking, who the hell is the world number 1 for mens! And in the end i just left it blank – just to find out after the exam from my friends that it’s NATIONAL number 1
And there goes 15 marks ![]()
And on to the practical exam, the conductors set my turn to the LAST. Ha! Yes, LAST. It is scheduled to finish around 12.30pm. But, it dragged on until 3 something.
Was hungry/sleepy waiting for my turn as hell. Well, allan said for the practical session i wasted a lot time by talking. I guessed it’s about right, well, maybe i’ll try to talk super less next time. ![]()
Results will be send via e-mail to us in, approx. 2 weeks time. Damn i dont know what would i do if i failed. If i failed, then i just wasted a whole week of holiday whilst i could use the time to study for my upcoming trial. DONT FAIL ME ![]()
I dont have pictures for this course. I did not brought my camera there. SORRY! ![]()
MMM let’s see. After so many blog posts, i dont know how to start this one. I really wanted to come up with something eye-catchy, but i guess i havent reached that level yet. Let me collect more points first
This update is actually exactly 10 days overdue. I was kinda caught up with studying too much, has been studying day and night, get it??? ![]()
The grand final of the sportexcel of the year 2009, the last sportexcel of the year. It’s actually held together with the Malaysian Open to allow juniors to head to the curve the watch professionals play. We actually watched the Malaysian Open finals on Saturday. Nicol!! as usual, won the malaysian open with a 3-1 win over allison waters.
On to the grand final, i finished number 7 yet again. Guess it’s really a lucky number 7. Well, i did not really do much this tournament, did not play really well, nor REAL bad. Just, same!
though a change might have been nice. Well, this trip wasnt very interesting either. Especially at the curve. Gosh! It was god damn boring there, we really cant find anything to do there! The place, i can say is filled with empty-ness. Well, i did bought a shirt from a puma warehouse sale there though, it rocks!
but other than that, EMPTY! All i can say is the food there had a big variety! Sadly, we people cant go to expensive restaurants and enjoy the food there, so, we just settle down for some McD’s. Ha!
I’m not gonna play another tournament until after i’m done with my spm. Well cause, ONE, there aint any tournament left until end of the year, TWO, i have to take the presumed BIGGEST exam of my secondary school life. Well, after SPM, i’m free from school! unless i go to form 6. I could do SOOOO much after SPM! Especially when i DO NOT have to go for the National Service (NS)! ![]()
I really admire those who knows what they ‘want to become’ in the future, who knows exactly what they want and need in their life, cause, at least they have a target to look to. Even if they couldn’t achieve their target, at least they’re not staring a blank walls with no answers whatsoever. So for those of you who DO know what you want yourself to study, or know what you want to do after SPM, good luck and keep up with it. And for those of you just like me who’s currently, sesat! Uhhh. I guess we could find something some time in the future ![]()
My blog has not been filled with pictures these few post, so now here i am, filling my blog with pictures – even though there’s very less pictures of me, it’s still good enough. Much thanks to katharine/nattasha, who ‘kidnapped’ my cam to take photos! At least i have something to post of my blog ![]()

This is Yassin. The emo/weird dude! HA! He’s done something so funny yet cool recently! GET YOURSELF UPDATED! ![]()

Okay! i guess i’m out of ability to ty…p…e..
PS WHATEVER, DUDE!
The squash Sportexcel 4th leg passed like, over a week ago. And, only now, i’m updating about it. That’s cause i’m busy with life – You know, study, play, bla bla.
This tournament! is held in penang. So, players from other state came all the way up to penang. Not much players played this tournament, cause, it’s a ‘closed leg’. Haha. 16 players an age group. Hence, there are only 16 X 6(6 age groups) = 96 players.
As usual, i played in the Under 19 age group. Well, i was seeded 12th for this tournament. First round, i played Raja Adam from Kuala Lumpur. Manage to scrap a victory of him. A 4-setter match. Almost lost it in the 4th game. Luckily, i managed to win the last set. So, that puts me in the top 8. Then, i played with Addeen, from Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS) in the quaters. In this match, I was leading 2 sets at first, but then screw it up and lost the game 3-2. Wth man!
I should’ve be more careful.
Well, that puts me into the 5-8 category. I then, played with Marcus Yuen from Selangor. Was tired from the morning match with addeen. Lost it 3-1. Ah well. Finally, i won on the last day, against low weng onn from Perak. 3-1 again. So, i finished 7th. ![]()
On saturday, which is the second day of the tournament, after the match, i went to Queensbay with yassin and raffie. I don’t even know why i went there. Maybe just for fun. We walked around for some time. Then, headed home. Then, on the next day, sunday, after matches ended in the afternoon, i went to stallion – the apartment where players stayed, and have a swim with them. Played weird/tiring games. ![]()
That’s about it for the entire tournament. Gosh i miss tournaments.. And, sorry, no pictures here ![]()
Last friday, me, ivan along with his girlfriend, slim, ryosei and hayate went to Tin Club in butterworth for a league game. The actual planned departure time from courts was 5pm. But then, it was raining quite heavily and we thought it’s gonna be a hell load of jams at the bridge. So, ivan suggested that we left earlier. Since it was him who was fetching us there, we agreed to leave the courts earlier. So we left around 4.30pm.
Well, the bridge was jam as usual. But it was not a massive jam. Still considered not bad. We reached at tin club around 5.30pm. Still kinda early. No one was there yet. Waited for like 15 mins for the hosts to arrive. And then, we played! I played with an slightly old man. Haha. Damn it, although he’s old, but he’s a freaking cheat! LOL. A lot of rallies, even when i’m not in his way, he used his hand to push me away from the ball so he could reach the damn ball. I was like “wth??”. But, he IS an old man, so, i didn’t make a problem out of it. Well, i did tease him though. Haha. Damn i’m bad.
After the game, had dinner, their treat. COOL. Haha. They’re recognize by their good dinner after league matches. We had a good dinner. Then, followed ivan back to squash courts where he dropped us off there. That day was not bad, kinda fun. Oh well.
Then, had an uneventful weekend. Seriously
And, now i’m here blogging. I skipped EST today, freaking subject that is no point of learning it. It’s common sense!! What is there more to study? Then, straight to training. Today’s training was not much of a physical session. It’s more like a, talking session. LOL. It was really =.= haha. Oh well, hopefully there will be more squash tomorrow ![]()
School has started, and i’m busy to update my blog on a daily basis. Sorry for that, but studies do comes first. So.. ![]()
