Nuffnang Glich? – Part II

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008
Okay, so Nuffnang replied to my message. They said, as follows:

Hi Max,
According to our database system, the click fraud incident did repeated after the email was sent. That being said, our system has automatically blacklisted your blog when the click fraud happened again. May I enquire if it is true that your blog has been involved with activities which falls under the click fraud category?

So, i then said After i received the e-mail. i’m SURE that click frauds did not happen. For all i know. So, tell me, how can you guys get my blog’s ads up and running again?

And so they replied, after a day, or two.

Hi Max,
We will remove your blog from our blacklist manually. But please do not let this incident happen again.

Sweeeeet :D

So, they did, they lived up to their words. Great!!

Nuffnang Glich?

Saturday, July 26th, 2008
I don’t know it’s a glitch or what but my nuffnang analytics gave a zero on me yesterday and today. BTW, for those of you who don’t own a blog or don’t have nuffnang ads placed on their blog will have a harder time understanding this compared to those who have.

The nuffnang analytics is like a visitor counter for your blog. For every hour, it tells how many visitors visits your blog. In addition, it differentiate whether it’s an unique visitor or not. So suddenly on the 24th of June, the counter suddenly stopped counting. I felt it’s weird and wrote to them.

So, i said to them “Okay, so on the afternoon of 24th of june. my blog counter just stop counting. it was fine previously. i’m sure that i have placed the code perfectly. As it’s working before. You can check it out http://whatyougot.blogspot.com

Then, they replied

Hi Max,
May I enquire if you took off your code before this incident? Nevertheless, we’re looking into this problem immediately. Cheers, Robb Chew, Blogger Relations Executive,Nuffnang Sdn Bhd

Then, i replied them, “Well, i didn’t took the codes off. It can be very obvious i did not took those codes off as the ’nuffnang’ sign is in-tact. Leaderboard, skyscrapper, ads between contents. There’s a nuffnang sign there. Hope you guys can look find a way to solve this problem A.S.A.P. Thanks!!”

Then, they said.

Hi Max, Our crawlers have detected a lot of click fraud activities in your blog and has thus blacklisted your blog. May I enquire if such activities happened on your blog and if you are aware of it? Did you by any means be it intentionally or unintentionally clicked repeatedly on your ad units when they’re displaying a CPC ad?

Well,On the 24th of June, I DID receive an e-mail saying they discovered a click fraud in my blog. It that e-mail. It says:

Do note that click fraud is a serious offense and breaches our terms and conditions. Action may be taken if such activity continues. We have deducted your earnings to reflect what our algorithm has found to be genuine clicks. We are able to detect click fraud based on the number of clicks, your IP address, click behaviour, browser cookies and various other methods. Please take this matter seriously or we may be forced to exclude your blog from future campaigns should we find ANOTHER incidence of click fraud.

So, it means they will not blacklist my blog yet until they discover ANOTHER click fraud. But yet, they still did it anyway. I’m now hoping to get an reply for them A.S.A.P.

I’ve got two words for you guys.
F*CK YOU!!!!!!
